The fishing net instalation came to be in the beggining of 2014 as my bachelor's thesis project.

For me the net was the result of my three years living abroad. All that I have seen, all that I have learnt, all that I have experienced.

I decided it would mostly represent this journey by the colours: red, white and green. The Italian flag. I wanted to look for my roots as deep as I could. In the bottom of the ocean. My ocean. It is a very 'lived' net, broken apart, sewn together.

As my studies developed during my masters I felt that my net needed to continue, my jouney. So the second one came to life, but this time with other colours: yellow and blue. the Swedish flag, Different roots, but the same search, altough this one is not so 'lived' since I am still fishing in the depths of the nordic sea.
